琵琶湖西岸の打見山にある観光用テラスで、ロープウェイ(往復3,000円〜3,500円)使用で到着します。テラスカフェから望む琵琶湖の絶景は素晴らしいの一言。ツーリング立寄り地としてはお金がかかりますが、唯一無二の絶景が望めます。また、天気がよければ有料席のプレミアムシートもお勧めです。テラスでなくても、ロープウェイを下りたところにあります打見山 山頂展望台からも好景観が望めます。

No.73　Engetsu Island

奇岩奇勝の多い南紀。橋杭岩、立厳岩、三段壁などがありますが、南紀のシンボルとも言えます海上に浮かぶ南北130m高さ25mの円月島を選出。中央部に円月形の海蝕洞が開いていることから円月島と呼ばれています。景勝地はカーブにあるので要注意を。100m先に駐車場があります。特に夕景の美しさは格別です。日没の時間は、夏は6時30分頃、冬は4時30分頃です。

石灰岩の白い岩と真っ青な海のコントラストがまるでエーゲ海を思わせるような景観で、「日本のエーゲ海」とも称され、非日常感を味わえる絶景場所です。無料駐車場もありでツーリングライダーも多くキャンプ場もあります。「夕陽100選」にも選ばれたきれいな夕陽が見れます。

主観が入り申し訳ないですか、大阪と言ったらこの景色。昔バイクを押してよく写真を撮りました。つぼらやのフグのちょうちんにビリケン様、そして通天閣。ニッチでディープな世界観が見事な絶景です。ジャンジャン横丁には串カツ屋さんがずらり。まさに食い倒れの町です。つぼらやさんの閉店など時代の流れでこの景観も変わるかもしれませんが、見ていて元気が出てくるこの景色を残して貰いたいものです。

No.76　天橋立ビューランドから見る飛龍観の天橋立

日本を代表します景観の日本三景のひとつ。定番の絶景ですが日本三景からは唯一の選出です。他にも傘松公園や大内峠など天橋立の展望所は幾つもありますが、文珠山山上にありますビューランドからの絶景は頭一つ抜けていると感じ、こちらの景色を選出致しました。ここから股のぞきをした時の眺めは、天橋立が天に舞う龍のように見えることから飛龍観と呼ばれています。天橋立を見ながら下りて行く、下りリフトも好眺望です。

日本初の世界遺産に認定されました名城で、国内に５城あります国宝天守5城の一つです。増築した400年以上前の1617年当時の様相が、明治の廃城令や太平洋戦争の空襲も避け、奇跡的にそのまま今に残る名城です。国宝5城はもちろん、国内の現存天守12城や、天空の城などと呼ばれているお城も素晴らしいのですが、やはりこのスケール、そして美しさともに、頭一つ抜けている姫路城を選出。西の丸からの姿が一番かと思いますが、姫路駅からなど遠方からも望めるその景観はまさしく世界に誇る日本の絶景のひとつです。
