No.1 摩周湖第1展望台
No. 1 1st observatory of Mashu-ko
道東を代表する絶景地で、霧の摩周湖といわれるくらいになかなか摩周湖の全景を見ることが難しく、絶景の摩周湖を見たら婚期が遅れるとも言われるくらいです。しかし、その青い湖面とその優雅な佇まいは、まさにメジャーな場所でありつつも神秘的な感じを醸し出している、ある意味日本を代表する湖です。展望台がいくつかありますので、行くたびに違う展望台から見るのも面白いですし、第3展望台は第1展望台と同じ道沿いにありますので、時間があればちょっと立ち寄って見るのもお勧めです。今回は、定番ながら、やはり摩周湖を代表する景色の第1展望台を選ばせて頂きました。

Because there are some observatories, seeing from a going observatory different from the Japanese socks, too, is interesting and because 3rd observatory is along the same road as 1st observatory, it is recommended to try to call in a little if there is a time, too.
This time, we chose 1st observatory of the scenery that still represents Mashu-ko in spite of the regular.
No.2 美幌峠（屈斜路湖）
No. 2 Bihoro-toge ( Kussharo-ko Lake )
道東の屈斜路湖の代表的な展望台の美幌峠。駐車場にバイクを止めて坂道を歩いて行くと、どんどん屈斜路湖が開けて来て、美幌峠の展望台でそのMAXを味わえるドキドキ感も楽しいです。屈斜路湖も幾つか展望台がありますので、訪れる都度、別の展望台に行って、屈斜路湖のいろんな景観を楽しむのもありかと存じます。摩周湖と近く、両方の湖を見れるアクセス感もいいです。屈斜路湖を背景に写真を撮るために、是非、三脚を持って行かれるのがお勧めです。

No.3 エサヌカ線
No. 3 ESANUKA line
北海道猿払村にあります地平線に向かって真っすぐに伸びる、ライダー大好物の水平線が見える直線路です。道としてもそうですが、この光景はまさにツーリング絶景。どこが、というポイント的な決まった場所はないですが、逆にどこで見ても爽快です。道脇にエゾシカの集団を見ることも出来ます。ですので、シカの飛び出しにはご注意を。とにかく、一度は走って（見て）みたい道です。同道を雰囲気が被るため、選外に致しましたが、オトンルイの風力発電の風車群下などを走る日本海側のオロロンラインも絶景です。

No.4 神の子池
No. 4 ike of God’child
道道1115号線から未舗装の道を約30分ほど走る苦労がありますが、裏摩周湖側にある綺麗な青い池です。湧水の池沼はどこも綺麗ですが、特にここと山形県の丸池様は神秘的で、神の子池は池に沈んだ（浮いている）倒木がいい雰囲気を醸し出しています。摩周湖の裏といえ、前出した摩周湖の大1展望台からは1時間以上かかりますので、ご注意を。但し、裏摩周湖展望台へはここから20分ほどで行くことが出来ます。

No.5 天に続く道
No. 5 Road to lead to the heaven
前出のエサヌカ線に続く“道絶景”ですが、数多くある道内の直線路の中でも、直線部が28kmもあります道内随一の直線路で、駐車場が完備された道を見る展望台（画像右）があるくらいに有名な道です。その名の通り、天にも続くような道の絶景を望むことが出来ます。特に道の向こう側の水平線に陽が落ち、台地が赤く染まる夕焼け時は、とても綺麗です。

No.6 ミルクロード（北海道）

昨今は、前出のエサヌカ線や、宗谷丘陵にある貝殻が敷かれた白い道などが人気の北海道の道ですが、80年代の北海道ツーリングのブームの時には、ライダーの多くがこのまっすぐなミルクロードの景色と、近くにある360度の地平線を望める開陽台を見に集まりました。既に40年近く経った今でも、当時とまったく変わらない景色を見ることが出来ます。午後になると道に木の陰がかかるので、写真を撮るなら午前中がお勧めです。なお、今回は選外ですが、近くの開陽台からは晴れていれば北方領土の国後島を望むことが出来ます。ちなみに九州にも著名なミルクロードがあります。

No.7 三国峠（展望台）

道内の国道最高所ですが、層雲峡側から入りますと、意外と近く行けます。原生林と、その中を抜けていく赤い松見大橋のコントラストが絶景の場所で、駐車場のある展望台から少し降りたところがベストビューポイントになるのですが、駐車する場所がないので走行車にはご注意を。特に紅葉時には燃えるような景色を見ることが出来ます。同峠の南の方にある糠平湖に有名なタウシュベツ橋梁があるのですが、同橋を間近で見るにはツアーや事前に許可を取る必要があり、普通にはゲート内に入れないのと、時期によっては水没して見れないので今回は選外に致しました。ちなみに、橋の反対側の湖畔の高台（タウシュベツ展望台）からタウシュベツ橋梁の遠望（かなり小さいですが…）を見ることが出来ます。

No.8 クリスマスツリーの木（美瑛）

美瑛といえば、いろいろな色の農作物の畑が織物のように連なるパッチワークの丘が有名ですが、いろいろな展望台やいろいろ有名な木があって、どこに行けばいいのか迷いがちですが、ツーリング的にお勧めなのがクリスマスツリーの木です。パッチワーク丘に木が一本ぽつんと立っていて北海道感を味わえます。但し、畑は私有地のため（田畑はだいたい私有地ですが…）立入禁止ですので、中に入らないようご注意を。他には、木の本数は減りましたがマイルドセブンの丘もお勧めです。花の開花時には四季彩の丘も絶景ですが、観光地化していますので人は多いです。

No.9 青い池
No. 9 Blue pond
前出しましたクリスマスツリー丘と同じ美瑛ですが、場所が違うため別番とさせて頂きました。「美瑛」とくくらない、あくまでその絶景を見れるポイントを一か所とするのが「感動絶景～どこいこ108景」になります。神の子池などの透明な湧水池とはまた違う青い池で、まるで、青い入浴剤が池に入ってしまったような真っ青な池で、立ち枯れした樹々がより風情を醸し出していて、その景観はMacの壁紙にも採用されたほどです。広い駐車場から歩いてすぐというのも立ち寄りやすいポイントです。近くの労せず見れる白ひげの滝もお勧めの好景観地です。

No.10 サイロ展望台から見る洞爺湖

冠雪した羊蹄山を見れる桜の時期であれば壮瞥公園も好景観ですが、四季を通じて、いつでも湖的な景観の素晴らしさから、今回はサイロ展望台を選びました。この辺りは好き好きかと…両方とも寄られて、各々の景観を見て洞爺湖を楽しむのもお勧めです。特にサイロ展望台はTOYAのオブジャもあり、記念撮影が楽しい場所でもあります。国道そばにあり寄りやすくて、食事処などがあり、景色を見ながら休憩できるのも嬉しいです。湖畔の洞爺湖温泉からも洞爺湖の好景観を望めます。

No.11 ニセコアンヌプリから見る羊蹄山
No. 11 Yotei-zan to see from Mt. Nisekoannupuri
美麗な羊蹄山は山麓のどこから見ても綺麗で、絶景スポットを絞り辛いですが、お勧めはプチ反則技ながら、ニセコのゴンドラに乗った山頂付近から見る眼前の羊蹄山の景色です。まるで（見ることが出来ない）富士山を上から見たような好景観です。最近では雲海テラスとして早朝に発生する雲海が有名ですが、もちろん晴れていれば日中でも絶景です。ですので、夏でも麓からゴンドラに乗って山頂まで行けますし、山頂駅からさほど歩かずにこの景色が見えるので選定いたしました。

No.12 昭和新山

1944年、噴火活動によっては畑の地面が突然に隆起してできた標高398mの隆起型の火山です。赤茶色の山肌から噴煙があがる間近で見れるこの山は、まさに他所の景勝地ではなかなか味わうことの出来ない畏怖間が漂う景観で、心がつかまれます。個人の私有地につき入山は禁止されています。国指定の特別天然記念物です。また、同山のそばに有珠山のロープウェイ（1800円）があり、山頂駅そばには有珠山洞爺湖展望台があり、洞爺湖の美観を望むことができます。また、階段を上り少し歩くと有珠山火口原展望台があり、1977年に大噴火をした有珠山の噴火口や遠くは室蘭までの好眺望を望むことが出来ます。

登別温泉の北東にあります、日和山の噴火によってできた直系約450m の火口跡で、谷に沿って多くの白煙が立ち上がっている奇勝地で、周囲1kmの硫黄泉が噴出している大湯沼などがあります。国内有数の規模の噴霧地で、しかも、間欠泉や足湯など見どころもたくさんあり、遊歩道越しに湯気が立ちまくる地球のパワーを感じられる景勝地です。近くにクマ牧場（2650円）もあります。

No.14 神威岬

道内には、宗谷岬や納沙布岬、襟裳岬などの著名な岬が多く在りますが、絶景といえばこの岬。女人禁制の門から約770m先、徒歩約20分で着きます神威岬の先端部。積丹ブルーの海と、乙女の化身と言われています神威岩の景観が素晴らしいです。門の開閉時間が時期によって違いますので、事前に要ご確認を。

JR大沼公園駅近くにある駒ヶ岳の展望地で、大沼越しに駒ヶ岳の秀峰を見ることが出来ます。整備された遊歩道があり、道中には歌「千の風になって」のモニュメントもあり一周約15分で回ることが出来ます。少し離れていますが、高台のきじひき高原パノラマ展望台からも、駒ヶ岳と大沼の全景を見渡せる好景観を望むことが出来ます。
